Talk With Your Hands. Learn how American Sign Language became a tool for communication in the 1800’s. Badges available from Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council for: Brownies,Juniors and Cadettes. Sunday, March 8, 2020. 1 to 2:30 pm


Lead On, Harriet! Follow Harriet Tubman to freedom on the Underground Railroad. Please dressappropriately for the outdoor portion of the program. Ages 9 and up. Non-scouts are welcome. Juniors earn Playing the Past badge. Program patch available for $2. Friday, February 28, Saturday, February 29, Saturday, March 7, 2020. 7 to 9 pm


Animal Party. Meet some live animals and learn how to take care of them. Non-scouts, ages 5 to 11, are welcome. Journey and badge activities: Daisies – 3 Cheers for Animals, Brownies – Pets, Juniors - Animal Habitats. Saturday, January 18, 2020. 9 am to 12 noon AND 1 to 4 pm

First Aider. Brownies and Juniors complete the First Aid badge. Saturday, February 8, 2020. 1:30 to 3:30 pm.


Think Like an Engineer. Brownies and Juniors use observation skills with activities that focus on the wetlands and creek at CCM. Sign up for Scistarter.com/GirlScouts account ahead of the workshop. Bring a bag lunch. Wear footwear that can get wet. Saturday, March 28, 2020. 9 am to 1:30 pm.


Garden Faeries. Juniors earn the Gardener badge with activities to beautify the grounds at CCM. Cadettes and Seniors can volunteer to order the plants (by early March) and run the event. Saturday, April 25, 2020. 9 am to 1 pm. Bring a bag lunch.


Outdoor Artist. Daisies – Outdoor Art Maker, Brownies – Outdoor Art Creator, Juniors –
Outdoor Art Explorer, Cadettes – Outdoor Art Apprentice.
Lots of art media to express yourself with with! Non-scouts are welcome. Saturday, May 9, 2020. 10 am to 12 noon.
