Culture Carriers

Immigrants from Latin America have brought many aspects of their home cultures to the Annapolis area. CCM is in the process of collecting stories about how aspects of culture –language, food, music, celebrations, etc. are woven into daily life.

This project is supported by grants from the Four Rivers Heritage Area, the Arts Council of AACounty, and the Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks Department.

Welcome Way

Visitors to CCM will soon start their visit on a walkway along the parking lot! The MarylandHeritage Areas Authority has granted CCM $40,000 to improve the parking lot with eco-friendly and pedestrian friendly features. The walkway will include interactive exhibits about the natural world.
