EDUCATORS
See the museum in a brand new way! The Virtual Programs give students and educators an inside look into the Chesapeake Children's Museum, also offering MSDE aligned activities. Our museum educators are prepared to work with all school levels including preschool, homeschool and daycare groups.
Program themes and projects change due to curriculum and time of year. The programs are virtual, fun and creative!

Upon receiving your request, we will connect on your media platform or via our Museum Zoom.

Educators will receive a list of supplies for students to have on hand prior to the start of the program.
​
We also offer CCM in a BOX!
Each Kit Includes: basic instructions, prompts for engagement, books and themed props, along with a packing list.
Covid-19 kit rental protocol: Upon return, each Play At-Home kit is sanitized and allowed to sit for 48+ hours to ensure safety.

Kit Themes:
Sky Watch- constellation map, make your own binoculars.
Doctor Office- dress-ups and props.
Hard Hats- wood or plastic block sets, toy tools. Electric Circuits- batteries included!
Art- ex. origami, shoebox diorama, sidewalk chalk. Shoe Store- foot measurer, shoeboxes, cash register
Make Some Music- rhythm instruments.
Dinosaurs & Fossils- toy dinosaurs, real fossils.
Puppets- rainforest animals, farm animals, other themes.
Nature Exploration- magnifying glasses, field guides.
Physical Phun- hula hoops, balls, tunnel.
Dress Ups- give us a theme or be surprised!
Educators rent a CCM in a Box for your classroom or Individual Kits to be used for your Virtual Program.
