About the event

What makes a potato chip so crispy and who's responsible for their goodness? Join us for a special Black History Month edition of our Savoring Science series as we explore the story of George Crum, the inventor of the potato chip! Kids will (carefully) slice, season, and make out own chips while discovering how heat, oil, and moisture work together to create that perfect crunch. Perfect for families and curious young minds who love food and science!
