About the event
This workshop includes background on human history, genetics, and the purpose of melanin related to proximity to the equator. We share activities to use with young children as well as Teachable Moments that present themselves as opportunities for new understandings about skin color differences. Approved by MSDE for continued training for childcare professionals.
