Jump for Joy
Pre-K to 2nd
Warm up the muscle groups from your toes to your forehead with flexing, stretching and bouncing. Use a variety of recorded music as inspiration for movement to create a scene or story. Plan and perform a short piece for our classmates.

Become the characters in folktales from: China, west Africa, the Caribbean and eastern Europe with Riki Tiki Tempo, Who's in Rabbit's House?, Trouble, and the Great Big Enormous Turnip. Make a paper puppet to take home.

Nature's Where and When
Go on a Nature walk, play games, and create art to learn about the homes and lives of native animals. Learn to identify some of the plant life found in and around Spa Creek.

Every Day is Earth Day
Learn about pollution, recycling, erosion and habitat through hands on activities. Tour the rain gardens. Run a recycling relay race. Use recyclables for art!

Can We Talk?
Sharpen up your soft skills with communication exercises and quick skits. Learn how to resolve conflicts with friends and family. Gain skills in identifying and managing the stressors in your life.

Pricing for field trips:
Pre-K to 3rd grade: 1-hour workshop plus 1 hour to explore the museum:
$10 per student.
4th to 5th grade: 2-hour workshop, includes a snack as part of the program: $15 per student.
1 chaperone is free for every 5 students. Extra adults are $5 each.
Workshops to go:
In Anne Arundel County: $200 per hour per facilitator. Add a travel fee of $10 per 10 minutes beyond.
A non-refundable $25 deposit will be credited to your total. Balance is due
on the day of your workshop.
Title 1 & AAA schools:
Grants and volunteers enable us to reduce fees at times if you serve low-income families.
